Harry Potter And The Goblet Of fire
Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire is the fourth book in the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. At the beginning of the book Harry and his friends are going to the quidditch world cup. In the end the Irish win the world cup. When everyone is coming back to their camps at the end of the game everything goes wrong. People in dark robes and masks come and torture people. Only muggles. When Harry and his friends run into the forest Harry realizes that he had lost his wand! In the sky a skull with a snake coming out of its mouth comes up and every-body panics more. When everything ends some people from the ministry of magic come and blame them for causing the skull in the sky. They called it the ‘dark mark’. Then an elf comes with a wand. The ministry people get mad at the elf because elves aren’t allowed to even touch a wand. The elf says that he just wanted to find the wand’s owner and give back the wand. Then Harry realizes that the wand that the elf has is his! The ministry people get angrier but thankfully Ron’s dad comes to save the day and gets rid the problem.
At Hogwarts Harry and everyone else at the school is told by Dumbledore at his beginning of the year announcements that quidditch would be canceled that year but something much more interesting will be taking up that time: The Triwizard Tournament. For Harry and everyone else who had no clue what the Triwizard Tournament was Dumbledore explained. So what it is is when three schools are told to come together and one contestant or ‘champion’ gets selected by the goblet of fire and the people who get selected have to do some special challenges. Notice how I wrote three champions. One person gets selected from each school but when Dumbledore turns around and starts to talk again the fire chooses one more name: Harry Potter. ( Of Course ).
I give this book a thirty out of ten. I loved this book! Some reasons why I liked it are well first I love the Harry Potter series. The second reason is because you just can’t put the book down. There is so much hook in the book you can’t stop reading.
My third reason is the action. I know I say this for all the Harry Potter book reviews but I can tell you this book has a ton of action. I mean Harry Potter is fighting Dragons, Merpeople and has to go through a maze with a ton of dangerous enchantments. So much action….
My fourth reason why I think this book is good is because of all the mistry. No student was allowed to enter the Triwizard Tournament if they were not seventeen but Harry was not seventeen how did he get into the tournament or who put him in it. Mistry….
My fifth reason and last good reason why I think this book is first-rate is because of all the unexpectedness. In this book there are many parts that just make you jump or make you go “ah… know I get it”. One of the ‘oh I get it know’ parts is when Harry finds out what the second challenge is.
Now I would say that this book is good for those eight years and above ( anybody younger who reads this book is fine with me ). I say this because the book is long and there are complicated parts. Parts that can get confusing and you just need to understand. And of course there is a lot of advanced vocabulary in this book. My last reason for my recommendation is because the book is long. I mean I wouldn’t be too surprised to see that it is the longest book in the series. So hopefully this book report changes your mind on reading Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire. Don’t forget to keep on reading!
